Woo-hoo!  Let's celebrate the end of the year of the Zumba classes by having a great party! 

The year 2008 was a fun and challenging year by working hard on getting the word out in Southeast London.  A couple of demonstrations were held to promote this fanastic fitness program.  Zumba has brought many different cultures together not only through its music and rhythms but also through the variety of smiley faces I see coming to class!  

We had our first Zumba Anniversary Party in July this year which was a great success.  And thank you, Bianca E. for organising the party, the birhtday balloons and birthday cake (my birthday was the following day).  Yes, it was the best birthday party I've ever had.

Thank you so much to Annabela, Amy, Mierembe, Tyana and last but not least Bianca E. for helping me out on the Zumba demonstration @ Lewisham People's Day.  Thanks Bianca E. for participating in the Zumba demonstration in Catford and Greenwich.  You were a loyal student and  you are now a qualified Zumba Instructor yourself.  You have become a dear friend of mine and together we'll continue spreading Zumba in London!

See you all at the Zumba Party on Thursday 27th November @ Ladywell Leisure Centre in Lewisham from 7.00 - 8.00 pm.  More information will follow soon.

Zumba Kids With Bianca E.

Congratulations to Bianca E. (no, not me, but one of our fellow students) for becoming a qualified Zumba Instructor!  You should all know her by now.  She’s the girl who always stands at the front (on my left) and who wears the ‘Zumba With Bianca’ t-shirt.  As you may know, she has been attending my Zumba classes in Greenwich and Lewisham from day 1. Talking about a Zumbaholic!  She may have taught you one or more dance routines in the past and she has covered a Zumba class in Lewisham during my absence. 

Bianca has attended the Zumba Instructor Workshop in London in July this year and has only recently started her own Zumba Kids class.   Yes, you are reading it correctly.  I am so excited that we are now spreading Zumba to kids in South East London. The Zumba Kids class is designed to help your child get fit, loose weight, and experience the fun in exercising!  We are hoping it will become as popular as the regular Zumba class in Lewisham.

The Zumba Kids class is held every Wednesday afternoon from 4.45 – 5.45 pm at:

Hi There,

I have uploaded some of the pictures from tonight's class!  Thanks so much to Denver who took the time to make these pictures and the videos of allmost every single routine we've done in class.

Denver, I will bring in the 'Roses' chocolates for you next week as a 'Thank You'!  You're a STAR!!!  Poor you, sorry about your sore shoulder, but it was all for a good cause.  :-)  I hope the chocolates will make it up to you.

Also, Bianca (no not me but of one of my students), thank you so much girl for promoting my class!  I know you love it as much as I do.  I am so proud of you as you have hardly missed a class and you recently brought your 12 year old daughter along! 

Thanks to those who have filled in the feedback form.  This is very important to me as I would really like to improve YOUR Zumba class, so don't be afraid to give me feedback, good or bad.  There is always room for improvement.

Those who were first timers!  Well done you guys.  It keeps amazing me how well and quickly you pick up the moves.  I truly hope you enjoyed the class and would love to see you again next week. 

Let me go as it's getting rather late now...  Like I said in class, I'll practice some routines for next week.  See you then!

Hi There,

I've just received an email from one of you asking me whether the Thursday class @ Ladywell Leisure Centre is still on or not.  The answer is YES!

One of the reason of setting up this website is to keep you posted on any classes cancelled or added to the current schedule.  Now you no longer have to call the Leisure Centre 'cause as you know the Thursday class has nothing to do with them.  I hire the room, therefore they are unfortunately not obliged to provide you with the correct information :-(.

Thus, keep an eye on this site or simply send me an email @ mail@zumbawithbianca.com and I can tell you whether I will be there or not.

Well, I am there this week, so I'll hope to see you then!
